What is a home inventory?

A home inventory lists your personal possessions (everything from tennis shoes to TVs) and their value.

How long does it take to complete?

The time to complete your home inventory depends on the size and contents of your home, allow roughly an hour for every 1000 square feet of space inventoried.

Can't I just do this myself? I own a computer and camera.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from taking your own personal inventory. However, while many homeowners have every intention of doing it, they usually keep putting if off until it's too late. We do this for a living and have developed a methodology and process that ensures proper documentation and guarantees the utmost security of your personal inventory.

How often will need the service?

Usually once a year. We will contact you within a year to update your list.

Who will have access to my information?

Your privacy is of our utmost concern and we will not disclose your information to anyone. We identify you and your home with a unique and secure number. Customer account information is encrypted and stored on a password secured Server that is not connected to the Internet, ensuring privacy and security should your CD be lost or stolen. For your added protection we will keep a copy in our safe deposit box only with your signed permission.

When will I receive my completed inventory package?

Upon completion of the initial home inventory evaluation you should receive your package complete with documentation and CD within 5 to 10 days.

How is my package delivered?

Stevendev Home Inventory will personally deliver the package or send it by Certified Mail with delivery confirmation.

What happens if I have a loss and need to file a claim and my inventory is lost or destroyed?

If you have elected to have us keep a copy in our company Safe Deposit Box, we will either give you a copy or we will submit it to your insurance company or the police depart at your request.

What if I refer friends and family?

A great deal of our business comes from referrals and we will give you a $25 Walmart Gift Card for everyone you refer who uses our services.
